Study Tour

As per the CBCS syllabus there is provision of study tour for the students of our college. The students having History as their subjects go on a study tour to historical places with their Lecturers. The college renders necessary permission to go on such tours. The students are also have to get written permission from their parents and submit the written permission before their Proctor/Lecturer. The Proctor/Lecturers submit the permission letters before the principal. The principal after scrutinizing gives necessary permission for the study tour. The students are accompanied with more than two numbers of guides who are the teaching and non-teaching staff of our College. We always take utmost care of the students in the entire study tour period. The students visit the historical places and prepare a project report in this regard in the supervision of the guide. The students submit the final project report before the external examiner who is appointed by the Berhampur University on the scheduled date of examination. The external examiner evaluates the project report and takes a via-voice test of the students. The external examiner posts numerical award to individual students which is posted on the “MARK ENTRY” portal of the Berhampur University. This is a mandatory process. The students of 6th semester have to go through this study tour programme.

The above described process is also mandatory for the students having IRPM (Industrial Relations & Personnel Management) as their subject. There is a small difference that the students of IR&PM don’t go to historical place; they go to any one industry for the purpose. The process is almost all same with the History study tour, only difference is the place of visit. The project report, evaluation by external examiner and mark posting process is same with the History study tour.
